Die Neue Freie Presse Nr. 7940 meldet auf S. 5, dass eine Neuauflage des Klavierauszuges der 7. Symphonie erschienen ist:
"Neue Musikalien. (Bericht der k. k. Hof=Musikalien=Handlung Albert J. Gutmann, Wien, Hofopernhaus.) Bruckner, Siebente Symphonie, Bearbeitung für Clavier vierhändig (neue Auflage). [...]" (**).

Die New York Times Nr. 10947 informiert auf S. 2 in der 5. Spalte über die kommende Saison [7. Symphonie am 12./13.11.1886]:
" The prospectus of the Philharmonic Society of New-York for the approaching season has been issued. The dates set apart for the concerts and rehearsals have already been printed in this place, and the decision of the committee that both rehearsals and concerts shall occur at the Metropolitan Opera House has also been recorded. Among the new music and novel performances to be enjoyed during the Winter months are [... Rubinstein "Nero" und Symphonie ...], unfamiliar symphonies by Bruckner, Tschaikowsky [... "Manfred", Brahms etc. ... unattraktive Solistenliste ...]." (***).
