The New York Times Nr. 10982 macht auf S. 4 auf das heutige Konzert aufmerksam, in der Übersicht in der 1. Spalte: "AMUSEMENTS THIS EVENING. [...] METROPOLITAN OPERA HOUSE – At 8 – AIDA. At 2 – PHILHARMONIC (Rehearsal.)" und in der 7. Spalte: "GENERAL MENTION: [...] The programme for this afternoon's Philharmonic rehearsal and to-morrow evening's Philharmonic concert – both events occurring at the Metropolitan Opera House – includes Schumann's B flat symphony No. 1, a new symphony by Bruckner. Beethoven's "Leonore" averture, No. 3, and scenes from Rubinstein's "Nero," these last being interpreted, as to the vocal musik, by Miss Juch and Mr. Ludwig. The performance of "Aida" [... heute, deutsche Sänger, szenisch bedeutsam ...]." (*)
