Die New York Tribune Nr. 15091 macht auf S.9 in einem Inserat in der 6. Spalte auf das Konzert vom 16.3.1888 (mit der 4. Symphonie) wie am Vortag aufmerksam:
"CHICKERING HALL. Seidl Symph. Concert
              FRIDAY EVENING, March 16.
                         SEIDL CONCERT.
     The programme for the second of the SEIDL SYMPHONY CONCERTS – the first of which produced so brilliant and profound an impression – will appear in SUNDAY'S Papers. Seats may be secured at Chickering Hall and Schuberth's, 23 Union Square. Early application necessary." (*).
