Auch in der Buchbesprechung in The Hartford Courant Nr. 289 auf S. 23 (= S. 3 der Literaturbeilage) in der 7. Spalte wird Bruckner erwähnt:
"     Taking up a bound pamphlet, not a volume, which purports to instruct as to the Symphony, one wonders whether it is safe to trust to the authority of a handsome lad of twenty or thereabouts whose portrait is the frontispiece, and [... Felix Weingartner ...] to accept his spirited descriptions, strictures, commendations, criticisms on Haydn, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schuman [sic], Brahms, Bruckner, Berlioz. [... über Wagner und Beethovens 9. Sinfonie ...].
("The Symphony Since Beethoven." Felix Weingartner. Translated from the second German edition (with the author's permission) by Maude Barrows Dutton, Oliver Ditson Co., Boston, 1904. In cloth gilt $1.00.)"
