In einem Artikel in The York Dispatch Nr. 109 (York, Pennsylvania) auf S. 7 über Emil Paur wird, wie schon zuvor in anderen Zeitungen, auch Bruckner erwähnt:

Emil Paur, Director of Pittsburg Orchestra, Received Training in Europe

     A feature of the grand symphony concert to be given in this city on April 24, by the Pittsburg orchestra, will be the appearance with the organization of Emil Paur, conductor and soloist. [...]
     Emil Paur war born at Czernovitz, Austria, and is now about forty-two years old. When a young man, he entered the Vienna Conservatoty of Music, where he studied under Hellmesberger, Dessoff and Anton Bruckner. Afterward he became a member  of the Imperial opera house at Vienna, [... weitere Stationen ...]."
