The Philadelphia Inquirer Nr. 98 kündigt auf S. 6 das Konzert des Wiener Männergesangvereins am 10.5.1907 an:

"     [... Tourneeroute (u. a. in Washington Empfang im Weißen Haus ...] and a serenade of president Roosevelt.

     In their time Mendelssohn, Liszt, Richard Wagner, Bruckner, Johann Strauss and Brahms were honorary members of the society, and each of them, recognizing the artistic importance of the organization, dedicated works to it. [... frühere Auslandsreisen ... Vereinsarchiv (5000 Nummern, davon 1500 für 200 bis 300 Stimmen, 3500 für weniger als 200 ... Zeitplan (14:30 Autofahrt durch die Stadt, Besichtigungen etc.) ... Kommers nach dem Abendkonzert ...]. There will be plenty of good cheer at the "Commers," for the committee has accepted a donation from a well-known local brewer of a special brewing of beer, in any amount desired."
