Der Los Angeles Express Nr. 272 erwähnt Bruckner in einer Buchbesprechung auf S. 10:

     Of works on the orchestra there are few; of those which treat of modern methods of orchestration, less. To the latter class, Louis A. Coerne has added one that will be welcomed by the student of music, who is so far advanced as to study orchestration.
