The Minneapolis Tribune Nr. 188 (Star Tribune, Minneapolis, Minnesota) kündigt auf S. 28 die Aufführung der 7. Symphonie am 10.12.1909 an [2 Zeilenanfänge nicht lesbar]:

"Anton Bruckner to Be Introduced by Orchestra Next Friday Evening
Seventh Symphony of Peasant Composer of Austria to Be Played at Auditorium–Soloist Will Be Richard Czerwonky, New Concertmeister.
     Overture, "Le Carnival Romain," Berlioz,
Concerto in the Hungarian style: [... Satzbezeichnungen ...]; Joachim, Richard Czerwonky.
                          INTERMISSION.
Symphony, No. 7, E major: I., Allegro moderato; II., Adagio: Sehr feierlich und langsam; III., Scherzo: allegro; IV., Finale: Bewegt, doch nicht schnell, Bruckner.
THERE will be but three compositions on the program to be given next Friday evening in the Auditorium by the Minneapolis Symphony orchestra. The concert, however, will be of especial interest, as it brings forward, for the first time in Minneapolis, one of the Bruckner symphonies.
Anton Bruckner was one of the most important and picturesque composers of the Nineteenth century. He was an humble schoolmaster and organist of Upper Austria, who conceived the transcendental idea of doing for absolute music what Richard Wagner did for the music-drama. Handicapped by lack of education, Bruckner nevertheless left great quantities of orchestral music of the highest scholarly type, occasionally [deter?]mined by almost divine inspiration, [an?]d always of the greatest scientific [v]alue and interest. Like Beethoven, he wrote nine symphonies, reaching the supreme height of his creative life in the Seventh, which Mr. Oberhoffer will play Friday evening. Though Bruckner did not quite achieve his life's lofty ambition, it may be believed that he would have done so had all his works touched the mountaintop of beauty on which the Seventh symphony rests. The second movement, Adagio, is often compared to the immortal Funeral March that forms the second movement of Beethoven's Eroica Symphony. Though it was completed several months before the death of Wagner, Bruckner has implied in his letters that it was written under the conviction that Wagner, who was his revered idol, was nearing the end of his life. It may be, therefore, considered a memorial to the Beyreuth [sic] composer.
Bruckner was set in opposition to Brahms in the famous Wagner-Brahms controversy. But the two composers were really friends and mutual admirers, and their opposition was born in the brains of other supporters of the two cults, and not in their own. The Bruckner symphony will occupy the entire second part of the program.
The soloist Sunday afternoon [sic] will be Richard Czerwonky, the new concertmeister of the orchestra [... von Karl Muck von Deutschland nach Boston verpflichtet (Abbildung) ... am Freitag Joseph Joachims Violinkonzert und Berlioz-Ouvertüre zu Beginn (statt Ouvertüre von Sinigaglia) ...].
The Orchestral association desires again to call the attention of patrons to the fact that the evening concerts begin sharply at 8:15 o'clock, and that the doors are closed while the orchestra is playing." (***).
