Von den Schwierigkeiten, das Münchner Musik-Festival in den Rahmen der Kunstausstellung einzubinden, berichtet The Times Nr. 39355 (London) auf S. 4:

"  MAHOMEDAN ART IN MUNICH.

     How little Mahomedan art in known, outside a very limited circle, [... über frühere derartige Ausstellungen und das aktuelle Projekt ...].

     The managers of the permanent exhibition grounds on the Theresienhöhe at Munich had a difficult problem to solve. Their attention had to be divided between Mahomedan art and a series of musical performances, Beethoven-Brahms-Bruckner, Schumann-Strauss-festivals, in connexion wherewith an exhibition of new and ancient musical instruments was planned. It is hard to serve two or more masters, while at the same time, in the South Park, daily crowds have to be attended to who come for nothing but amusement, and not of the highest character.
