The Boston Globe Nr. 49 kündigt auf S. 51 für Mai 1913 ein Bruckner-Fest in Berlin an [Frühjahr 1913]:
" Bruckner is to have his turn at a festival. Berlin will hold one next May. It will probably last three days. Nikisch, Ferdinand Loewe, formerly a pupil, and Oskar Fried will conduct. Even with Nikisch, imagine three days of Bruckner. And yet Wagner once wrote to him. "You are to the symphony what I am to the lyric drama." The old man waved the letter frantically before the boys in his class at Vienna, stammering and delirious with joy."
