Dem Bericht zum Konzert am 31.10.1912 in The Manchester Guardian Nr. 20667, signiert "S. L.", könnte man entnehmen, dass eine angekündigte Bruckner-Symphonie [prov. WAB 86] [siehe die Anmerkung] durch Mozarts Es-Dur-Sinfonie ersetzt wurde:

"            THE HALLÉ CONCERTS.

                      PROGRAMME.

[... Mozart, Tschaikowsky, Bantock, Händel/Mottl, Liszt und Brahms ...]

     For last night's Hallé Concert, if we are not mistaken, one of Bruckner's symphonies was promised at the opening of the season. As the symphony in E flat of Mozart was brought forward from a later concert, we trust that Bruckner's symphony is no more than postponed, for Bruckner has been an unfortunate composer amongst us, and we still hope that this winter will see something more like justice shown to him.
