The Boston Globe Nr. 168 teilt auf S. 4 mit, dass die für die nächsten Konzerte [20/21.12.1912] vorgesehene 4. Symphonie [recte: 7. Symphonie] nicht aufgeführt wird:
"           SYMPHONY PROGRAM.
Dr Muck Substitutes the Symphony of Schumann for That by Bruckner.
Dr Muck has made an important change in the Symphony program of the coming week. He had announced for performance Bruckner's Seventh [sic] (Romantic) Symphony in E-flat. He takes this off and substitutes in its place Schumann's D-Minor Symphony No. 4." (*).
Auf Seite 35 wird aber noch eine Bruckner-Symphonie angekündigt, und zwar die 7. Symphonie:
"      Mr Warnke Symphony Soloist.
Mr Heinrich Warnke, the principal 'cellist of the Symphony Orchestra, will be the soloist at this week's concerts Friday afternoon and Saturday evening. He will play the concerto for 'cello in A minor, by Klughardt, a work which has never been heard here. The rest of the program will comprise two symphonies, Mozart's beautiful work in G minor and Bruckner's symphony in E major No. 7." (**).

[Die Aufführung der 7. Symphonie wurde am 3./4.1.1913 nachgeholt.]
