Ob der gestern aufgeführte Bruckner-Männerchor tatsächlich von Anton Bruckner oder von einem amerikanischen Namensvetter Bruckner stammt, ist auch der heutigen Konzertbesprechung in den Buffalo Evening News Nr. 19 auf S. 12 nicht zu entnehmen:

"SAENGERBUND HEARD IN FINE PROGRAM

                                        [...]

     The final season concert of the Saengerbund took place last night at Elmwood Music hall, under the direction of Dr. Carl Winning. The program opened with Dr. Winning's "Saengergruss," followed by Bruckner's "Lenzsturm," both sung with capital tone and spirit. [...]. The Saengerbund closed its share of the program by singing Franz Mair's "Sangesweihe," for which as with the chorus by Bruckner, George Lowry played an excellent accompaniment.
