"                     Matters Musical.

     Never has the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra faced a season so full of promise as the one about to open. [... beste Solisten, Orchester in Hochform ... mehrere Gastspielreisen (mit Ortsangaben) ...].

     A partial list of compositions which Dr. Kunwald and the orchestra will perform this winter follows:

     Bach, Brandenburg Concerto [... Beethoven, Berlioz, Brahms ...]; Bruch, Scotch Fantasie for violin; Bruckner, Symphony No. 7, E major; Carpenter, suite ; [... usw. bis Wagner ...].

     The auction sale of tickets will take place at the Sinton October 17 and 18, while the first pair of concerts will be given in Emery Auditorium October 27 and 28."
