"     It is a distinct novelty and a musical offering that will prove a rare treat which is scheduled for the patrons of the Los Angeles Symphony orchestra at its forthcoming concerts, Friday afternoon and Saturday evening. [... Edwards "The Hunter" ... Constance Crawley ... "piece de resistance" ...]. The program will be notable in that it will mark the first local presentation of a symphony by Bruckner. This Symphony No. 3 in D minor promises distinct novelty. There also will be given Saint-Saen's [sic] "Phaeton." ".
