"Phila. Orchestra Announces Plans and Soloists For New Season of Music

     Entering upon the twenty-second year with Leopold Stokowski observing the tenth anniversary of his regime as conductor, the Philadelphia Orchestra will launch its new season in the Academy of Music, Philadelphia, on Oct. 7 and 8.
