Die Bruckner-Briefmarke [IKO 142, vgl. 25.6.1922 und 2./6.7.1922] wird auch in The Salina Evening Journal Nr. 162 (Salina, Kansas) auf S. 15 (= S. 7 des 2. Teils) erwähnt:

"           MUSIC

[...]

     A recent issue of stamps by the Austrian government includes a series of seven on which appear the faces of famous composers, six of them Austrian and the seventh that of Beethoven, who spent much of his life in Vienna. The six are Haydn, Mozart, Anton Bruckner, Josef [sic] Strauss, the younger, Franz Schubert and Hugo Wolf. The stamps range in value from the Haydn issue at two and one-half crowns to Wolf at 100 crowns."
