The Nashville Tennessean Nr. 256 (The Tennessean, Nashville, Tennessee) schreibt auf S. 21 (= S. 5 des 2. Teils):
" In central Europe the symphonies of Mahler and Bruckner are considered heaven inspired; in this country they are scarcely ever played. Erna Rubinstein, the little violinist who played here last spring [damals 15jährig], has an ambition to conduct them herself some day, having heard her patron, Wilhelm Mengelbery [sic] of Amsterdam, part-time conductor of the New Philharmonic, praise them so highly[.] Paul Scheinpflug of Duisberg [sic], Germany, has the dreadful idea of performing them all in order, and has reached the fourth of Mahler's."
