The Brooklyn Citizen Nr. 48 meldet auf S. 19, dass die für den 19./20.2.1923 vorgesehene Aufführung einer Bruckner-Symphonie [prov. WAB 86] nicht stattfinden kann:
"PROGRAMS ANNOUNCED BY CITY ORCHESTRA
Schumann's fourth symphony will be played in place of the Bruckner symphony announced for presentation at the concerts of the City Symphony Orchestra in Carnegie and Town Halls to-morrow night and Tuesday afternoon. The change was made necessary because the parts for the Bruckner work have not yet arrived from Europe. The program will include Sibelius [... Tschaikowsky, Beethoven (mit Bronislav Huberman), Wagner (Holländer) ...]. Dirk Foch will conduct." (*).
