" MUSIC CORNER

[... u. a. über die Uraufführungen neu entdeckter Werke von Beethoven und Haydn (Violinkonzert unter Anton von Webern mit Rudolf Kolisch) ...].

     Still another unknown work has been found and made public in Vienna, a symphony in F by Anton Bruckner. It was composed in 1863, before Bruckner fell under the spell of Wagner, and shows strong influences of Beethoven and Schubert. The first performance was given at the old monastery of Klosterneuburg near Vienna."
