Der Los Angeles Evening Express Nr. 152 kündigt auf S. 8 die 4. Symphonie unter Walter Henry Rothwell als Novität für die kommende Saison an: "[...] the fourth or "romantic" symphony of Anton Bruckner, an Australian [sic] composer of the Post-Wagnerian school, [...]" (*).

 

Eine Vorschau auf die Saison "Rothwell Programs Many Titanic Works" bringt auch The Los Angeles Record (Los Angeles Evening Post-Record) auf S. 11, mit Abbildung des Dirigenten: "[...] will be Bruckner's Fourth Symphony, the "Romantique;" [...]." (**).
