Solist in Chopins e-Moll-Klavierkonzert und Liszts "Danse Macabre" ist Alexander Brailowksky, wie Gabrilowitsch in Wien Schüler von Leschetizky.

Auf dem Programm steht außerdem Schumanns "Genoveva"-Ouvertüre.

Besprechung des Konzerts vom 24.2.1927 durch Charlotte M. Tarsney in The Detroit Free Press Nr. 151 auf S. 11. Dem 1. und 4. Satz der 4. Symphonie wird der Vorzug gegeben. "[...]  Gabrilowitsch  gave a spirited, unaffected and lucid reading of the symphony, elaborately detailed, yet vital and forceful. [...]" (**).

    The New York Symphony also rendered Bruckner's Seventh Symphony, the score of which Mr. Klemperer read with an alertness and sensivity that displayed, especially in the famous Adagio, an enviable command over his men. The work as a whole was brilliantly performed and the execution of the Scherzo and Finale was notable; every instrument staunchly contributed to the volume of triumphant melody, almost discordant in its harmony, that brought the last moment [sic] to a tempestuous close.
