In The Observer Nr. 7196 (London) erscheint auf S. 12 ein Artikel "Vienna Music Library" zum hundertjährigen Jubiläum der Musiksammlung der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek:
"[...] The Countess Apponyi handed over a valuable collection, and Anton Bruckner, out of gratitude to the Emperor Franz Joseph for his gift of a cottage in the Belvedere, bequeathed by legacy all his musical scores.
A new epoch of expansion began when the collection was removed to its present home, the Friedrich Palace. [...] and also–a recent acquisition–the full score of Richard Strauss's opera, "The Egyptian Helen." "
