Die Zeitung St. Louis Post-Dispatch Nr. 319 schreibt auf S. 4 in der 5. Spalte über die Proben zum "Te deum" [Konzert am 1.12.1891]:
"             The Archbishop's Jubilee.
Preparations are actively under way for Archbishop Kenrick's jubilee celebration. It is intended to make the musical features one of the most important points of the celebration. A grand sacred concert will be given in Music Hall in which a chorus of 500 voices will take part. Bruckner's "Te Deum" and the "Gloria" from Mozart's "Twelfth Mass" will be the concerted numbers on the programme. Over 350 singers have already volunteered, and it is expected that the full number will be brought in before the week is over. Singers wishing to participate  should apply at once to Mr. Jospeh Otten [...]. Rehearsals will begin this week in the following order: In St. Vincent's School hall, on Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock; [...]. No new singers will be admitted after the first two rehearsals. Members will receive copies of the music at the first meeting."
