The Chicago Tribune Nr. 307 erwähnt auf S. 40 in der 7. Spalte Gisela Stoll als vermeintliche Bruckner-Schülerin:
"LATE ACQUISITIONS BY DAMROSCH.
Noted Artists Who Will Appear in the Auditorium Engagement.
[...]
     Frln. Gisela Stoll, like Frln. Eibenschutz, is a native of Hungary. Her musical career began at the Royal Opera in Budapesth. She is a daughter of a Hungarian scientist and a pupil of Prof. Bruckner. Frln. Stoll is described as a beautiful woman and a strong actress. [... Opernspielplan. 10 x Wagner, je 1 x Weber und Beethoven ...]." (*).
 
Ausführlicher berichtet die in New York erscheinende Zeitung The Sun Nr. 64 auf S. 18 (= S. 6 des 2. Teils) in der 1. und 2. Spalte:
"     GRAND OPERA IN GERMAN.
THE ARTISTS WHO WILL SING IN THE DAMROSCH COMPANY.

[... Tourneeplan, Solisten ...].
     Frl. Gisella Stoll, another new soprano, began her career at the age of seventeen in the Royal Opera in Budapest. She was the daughter of a well-known Hungarian savant and a pupil of Prof. Bruckner. Her success in Budapest was instantaneous, and it was due as much to her dramatic ability as to her voice. From Regensburg she went to Linz and other European cities, meeting with success. Her personality on the stage is impressive, and she is said to be a beautiful woman. Her most popular rôles are Brünnhilde, Brangäne, Elisabeth, and Venus. [...]" (**).
