The Brooklyn Daily Eagle Nr. 281 (Brooklyn, New York) bringt auf S. 16 das Interview mit Gericke in Boston (gekürzt andernorts am 2.10.1898 publiziert):

"What are your plans?" the reporter asked.

"Among the novelties that I have chosen are symphonies by Bruckner, Sinding and Gilson. Gilson is a young Frenchman [... geplante Chorwerke ... Ehefrau (geb. Flamm aus Wien) ...] is deeply interested in her husband's new work in an old field. Their daughter is about 5½ years old." (°°°).
