Ankündigung der Öffentlichen Generalprobe am 12.12.1902 und des Konzerts am 13.12.1902 mit der 2. Symphonie in The Philadelphia Inquirer Nr. 153 auf S. 28:

"NEWS OF THE MUSICAL SEASON
Fourth Concert and Rehearsal of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
[...]
     The Philadelphia Orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Fritz Scheel, gave its fourth concert for the present season at the Academy of Music yesterday evening when the program was identically the same as that presented at the same place on the provious afternoon. [... Dvorak "Neue Welt" u. a. ...].

     The first public rehearsal and concert of the Philadelphia Orchestra on Friday afternoon, December 12, and Saturday evening, December 13, brings back to this city the talented Russian pianist, Ossip Gabrilowitsch. He will play Chopin's Concerto for piano and orchestra E minor, Op. 11. The entire program is as follows:

1. Anton Bruckner, Symphony No. 2 in C Minor (First time.)

2. Frederic Chopin. [... Borodin, Goldmark ...]."
