In einem Artikel in der »Zeit« wird beklagt, daß Bruckner in Wien zu wenig berücksichtigt werde (*).

 

The Philadelphia Inquirer Nr. 160 kündigt auf S. 27 das Konzert vom 12./13.12.1902 mit der 2. Symphonie an:
"          The Philadelphia Orchestra
      When Ossip Gabrilowitsch returned to this country this year, [... Abbildung .... Chopin-Konzert ...]. The orchestra will play Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 2 in C minor for the first time. The other numbers on the program will be [... Borodin, Goldmark ...]. The rehearsal will be at 3 o'clock on Friday, the concert at 8.15 Saturday evening. Seat sale is now going on at Heppe's.
                   Kneisel Quartet
     The second concert of the Kneisel Quartet [... 15.12.1902 ...]." (**).
