The Illustrated Buffalo Express (Buffalo, New York) stellt auf S. 26 die Planung für das Musikfestival in Birmingham (13. - 16.10.1903) vor:
"MUSIC AND MUSICIANS.

     The Birmingham musical festival will take place an October 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th this year, when the programme will include Elijah (Mendelssohn), Messiah (Handel), Mass in B minor (Bach), Psalm xiii (Liszt), Te Deum (Bruckner), first performance in England, [... Stanford, Elgar ... Symphonien und andere Orchesterwerke ... Liste der Gesangssolisten ...].
     As before, the band and chorus will number 500 and Dr. Hans Richter will conduct. The chorusmaster, R. H. Wilson, and the choir have long been engaged on rehearsal of the music, [... besonders Bach ... kurz zu den Chorwerken ...] Liszt's Psalm is another well-chosen feature, and the Te Deum of Bruckner in a really noble work, worthy, not merely of one hearing, bur of a permanent place in the repertory of the festival authorities.
