The novelties to be heard for the "first time in public" at the London Promenade concerts this year are exclusively by Britons. The pieces to "be added to the repertory" are by Englishman, while the list of works to be heard "for the first time in London" also contains more ´Britich names, together with compositions of the modern Continental schools, including an early symphony from the pen of Herr Mahler, the Viennese manager. There is also a symphony, No. 7 in E, by the late Viennese master [15.10.1903], Anton Bruckner, a composer of whom Wagner was very fond; a symphony by composer named Jean Sibelius, [... u. a. ...]."
