" Theo. Thomas Orchestra.
Ever since the Great Cincinnati May Festival was organized Theo Thomas has directed the Orchestra. This year the orchestra will number 100, including the entire Chicago Orchestra and some additional players of first character that Mr. Thomas has engaged in New York. The important orchestral novelty will be, Bruckner's Ninth Symphony, and one of the great Strauss tone-poems will be played. "Death and Transfiguration"; Symphonies by Beethoven, Mozart and a Bach Suite will be heard."
