"                       THE CECILIA SEASON.
The announcement of the Cecilia's season explains why the society has a larger list of new subscribers than ever before. The program of the first concert, Dec 12, is excellently planned, and consists of Bruckner's "Grand Te Deum," Debussy's "Blessed Damosel" and Coleridge-Taylor's "Departure of Hiawatha." The soprano soloist is Mrs Corinne Rider-Kelsey, who during the past two years has been the most-sought star of the oratorio stage [...]. Mrs Bertha Cushing Child will sing the part in the "Blessed Damosel," in which she was so much admired last year. Mr Stephen Townsend will repeat his former success in "Hiawatha," and Mr Van Hoose, the favorite tenor, is also engaged. With Miss Lilla Ormond and Mr Charles Delmont to assist, this concert presents a notable array of soloists.
The program for the second concert [... noch offen ... 3. Konzert (Richard Strauss etc.)]."
