Der am 15.7.1906 erstmals veröffentlichte Artikel über den Wiener Männergesangverein erscheint auch in The Wall Street Journal Nr. 17 auf S. 6:

"           VIENNA'S CHOIR OF MILLIONAIRES.

            NOTABLE SOCIETY OF VERY RICH MEN.

     London music lovers have been listening recently to what may be described as the most remarkable vocal organization in the world–the "Weiner [sic] Mannergesang Verein," or Vienna made [sic] choir, [... ungewöhnlich viele vermögende Mitglieder, Liste der Spitzenreiter  ...] Herr Schneiderhohn [sic], straw hat maker . . . . $6,500,000 ... weitere 10 Namen mit über 4000000 $ Vermögen ... Abbildungen von Richard Henberger [recte Heuberger?] und Franz Schneiderhohn [recte Schneiderhan?] ... über die Vereinsstruktur und -tätigkeit, musikalische Bedeutung ...].

      So high was the standard of excellence in musical attainment that the choir soon won from itself recognition from the most distinguished composers of the day. Quite a number of famous musicians have actually dedicated certain of their compositions to the Wiener Mannergesang verein. Among these are Schumann, Meyerbeer, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Wagner, Bruckner, Johann Strauss, and others. [...]." (*)
