Der Vermont Standard Nr. 50/2806 (Woodstock, Vermont) bringt auf S. 6 den Bericht vom Vorfall bei der Aufführung der 9. Symphonie in Leipzig [am 15.11.1906] – (es sind auch die benachbarten Texte identisch mit denen in früheren Veröffentlichungen!):
" Herr Nikisch, conducting a performance of Bruckner's Ninth Symphony at Leipzic, created a sensation by rising suddenly from his seat and addressing the fashionable audience. He upbraided the women for staring at him through their opera glasses. "Your conduct," he exclaimed, "makes me so nervous that I cannot continue conducting." (*).
The York Daily (York, Pennsylvania) erwähnt auf S. 3 Bruckner als Lehrer:
" A GREAT VIOLINIST
Lingi [sic] Von Kunits Studies in Vienna Under Noted Artists
Among the European virtuosi that have chosen to make their careers in America is Luigi von Kunits, who is to be the soloist at the Pittsburg orchestra concert in York on February 22. [... Ausbildung ...] the conservatory of music in Vienna. He studied violin with Johan Kral, J. M. Gruen and Otokar sevcik; theory with Anton Bruckner, composition with Franz Jaksch, and musical history with Dr. Hanslick, the celebrated critic. [... sein Wirken in Amerika ...]." (**).
