The Sun Nr. 247 verzeichnet auf S. 40 (= S. 10 des 3. Teils) in ihrem Saisonrückblick auch die Aufführung der 7. Symphonie [am 6.12.1906]:

The Sioux City Journal (Sioux City, Iowa) kündigt auf S. 15 das Konzert des Wiener Männergesangvereins am 7.5.1907 an:

"     The Vienna male choral society (Wiener Mannergesangverein) gives its first concert in New York May 7. [... 793. öffentliches Konzert ...]. Its artistic importance is evidenced by the fact that Schumann, Meyerbeer, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Wagner, Bruckner, Johann Strauss and other composers have dedicated works to it. Like Brahms, all these were honorary members of the society. [... ausführliches Kritikzitat aus der London Tribune zum Konzert 1906 ...]." (***).

Von der Ankunft der Sänger berichtet The Sun auf Seite 9:

"             VIENNA MALE CHOIR HERE.

     The German steamship Oceana, in yesterday from Genoa, brought 170 singers of the Vienna Male Choir, accompanied by members of their families and fifteen representatives of the Austrian press. [...].

     They will make two public appearances here. The first will be on Tuesday night at Carnegie Hall, when the orchestra of the Philharmonic Society will assist. The programm will include [... Johann Strauß, Schubert, Brahms, Richard Wagner (Pilgerchor) ...] and other choruses for male voices. [... Richard Heuberger und Eduard Kremser ...].

     The second concert on Thursday night will be given without orchestra and will include many well known compositions for a capella choruses. [... Baltimore, Philadelphia, Buffalo ... sämtlich Benefizkonzerte ...].

     [... Hälfte der 385 aktiven Mitglied dabei ... ]. Among the composers who have written especially for it besides Johann Strauss are Schumann, Meyerbeer, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Richard Wagner and Bruckner. The choir last year made a visit to London." (°).
