The Sun Nr. 188 (New York) kündigt auf S. 40 (= S. 8 des 3. Teils) eine Aufführung der 8. Symphonie am 18.3.1909 an und erwähnt die Voraufführungen in Boston am 12./13.3.1909:

"     The last pair of Boston Symphony concerts of the season will be given in Carnegie Hall on Thursday evening, March 18, and Saturday afternoon, March 20. The feature of the Thursday evening concert will be the first performance in New York of Bruckner's eighth symphony in C minor. This will be played for the first times in America in Boston on March 12 and 13. Its recent performances in Germany created nothing short of a sensation. [... Samstagskonzert ...]." (*).

Nahezu gleichlautend schreibt die New York Tribune Nr. 22757 auf S. 55[?] (= S. 4 des 5. Teils):

"     The last concerts of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in New York this season will be given in Carnegie Hall on Thursday evening, March 18, and on Saturday afternoon, March 20. The feature of the Thursday evening concert will be the first performance in New York of Bruckner's Eighth Symphony in C Minor. This will be played for the first times in America in Boston on March 12 and 13. On Saturday afternoon [... Samstagskonzert ...]." (**).
