     Other compositions which Mr. Stransky spoke of, and which he is to introduce to the American public, are Weingartner's latest symphony, [... mit "Fledermaus"-Zitat ...]. Another of the pieces of which Mr. Stransky spoke is one of Delius' most recent compositions, "In a Summer Garden," dedicated to his wife, and Bruckner's fifth symphony, the last movement of which Mr. Stransky pronounces one of the biggest ever written by anyone. Mr. Stransky is one of the contemporary musicians who, at one time or another, were pupils of Bruckner, and like Dr. Muck, and Max Fiedler, and the late Theodore Thomas, he admits himself somewhat of a Bruckner propagandist. Mr. Stransky's faith in his idol is strong and after conducting Bruckner's fifth symphony here [in USA allgemein oder speziell auch Washington?] he expects to conduct also his third.
