The Buffalo Commercial schreibt auf S. 12, dass für die kommende Saison in Leipzig auch die 9. Symphonie eingeplant sei:

It is to have its first performance–war permitting–at one of the Gewandhaus concerts in Leipzig, under the direction of Arthur Nikisch, next winter. Among the other works chosen by Nikisch for these concerts are Korngold's Sinfonietta, the second symphony of a new Viennese composer named Franz Schmidt, Bruckner's Ninth, Liszt's "Faust," [... Richard Strauss, Tschaikowsky, Goetz ...], Stravinsky's "Le Sacre du Printemps," Ravel's "Ma Mere l'Oy." ".
