The Spokesman-Review Nr. 118 (Spokane, Washington) bringt auf S. 31 (= S. 4 des 4. Teils) einen Kurzbericht vom Worcester Festival mit dem "Te deum" [am 24.9.1914]:
"         EVAN WILLIAMS SUBLIME TENOR
[...]
                     New Compositions Heard.
The fifty-seventh Worcester (Mass.) music festival, the opening event of the musical season in the east, introduced some new compositions. Wolf-Ferrari's "Vita Nuova," after Dante, and Anton Bruckner's "Te Deum" were fine specimen of modern music.
Wolf Ferrari's masterpiece made a deep and immediate impression by its ideality, its rapture of spiritual beauty. Quite different, but even more effective is Bruckner's "Te Deum." It is at once naive and tremendous. The ideas are great throughout and it has the merit of conciseness and brevity. Evan Williams, who is next on the list of Spokane artists, was the tenor soloist.
Efrem Zimbalist, who will also be heard here later on, gave a fine exhibition of his sincerity in Art. [...]."
