Ankündigung der 4. Symphonie für den 17./18.12.1915 in The Cincinnati Enquirer Nr. 346 auf S. 51 (= S. 3 des 3. Teils):
"                     Matters Musical.
[...]
Two orchestral works new to the local public, the Bruckner Symphony in E-flat Major, and the Goldmark overture, "Im Fruhling," and [... Tschaikowsky Klavierkonzert ...] will make the Symphony concerts of Friday afternoon and Saturday evening of this week of more than average interest. Bruckner is interesting as a composer in that he applied many of the principles of Wagner to the symphonic form. He also follows him in the brilliance and elaborateness of his orchestration while in the loveliness of the melodies which he utilizes he is a legitimate son of Franz Schubert. The symphony which Dr. Kunwald will play this week is known as the "Romantic" symphony because of the appealing songlike character which predominates throughout the work.
Goldmark, who died last year in Vienna [... über das Werk, Tschaikowsky und den Solisten Marcian Thalberg (mit Abbildung) ...]." (*).

The Chicago Tribune Nr. 50 kündigt auf S. 62 (= S. 2 des 8. Teils) ebenfalls die 4. Symphonie für den 17. und 18.12.1915 an:
"                 Concert Calendar.
