Ankündigung der Aufführung der d-Moll-Messe am 5.6.1921 in der Neuen Freien Presse Nr. 20386, Abendblatt, S. 1 (*).
 
The Daily Times Nr. 135 (Davenport, Iowa) berichtet auf S. 8 vom Pianisten Paolo Gallico, dass er auch Schüler Bruckners war (mit Abbildung):
"Composer of "Apocalypse" Praises Tri-City People For Enthusiasm–Confident of Oratorio's Success
    "I am amazed at your people in the tri-cities. They have such zest and enthusiasm and they are such masters of detail," said Paolo Gallico this morning as he sat in the lobby of the Hotel Blackhawk receiving the congratulations of members of the local biennial board for his oratorio, "The Apocalypse," which is to be presented in the tricities for the first time in connection with the twelfth biennial convention of the National Federation of Musical Clubs.                  Gallico Not Obscure
     Although Mr Gallico has not previously attained great fame as a composer, he has won considerable mention as a pianist and he is a teacher of some note in New York City. In his large class of pupils there are many who show exceedingly promise. A native of Lombardy, Italy, Mr Gallico spent his youth in preparing himself for his chosen profession. He was a student at the Vienna conservatory studying awith Prof. Julius Epstein, Robert Fuchs and the late Anthon [sic] Bruckner. Mr Gallico is known particularly for his concert work, having toured both Europe ans America. He has lived in New York City since 1892.
