Die St. Pöltner deutsche Volkszeitung Nr. 34 kündigt auf S. 3 in der Programmvorschau "Der Männergesangverein St. Pölten" ein Chorkonzert am 8.11.1924 an, in dem auch ein Werk Bruckners eingeplant ist (*).

The Times Recorder (Zanesville, Ohio) schreibt über die Filmmusik (mit Bruckners 4. Symphonie) auf S. 10:

"         IN THE THEATERS

    Dr. Hugo Riesenfeld has arranged the musical score that will be played by an orchestra of 20 at the Weller, four days starting Wednesday evening, Aug. 27 with daily matinee thereafter. The first part of the accompaniment, to scenes in Pharaoh's court and the exodus of the Israelites, is of decidedly oriental flavor.

     A big original theme is used for the pursuit by Pharaoh's chariots and the escape of the children of Israel through the divided waters of the Red Sea. The director derives the lighter motifs of the ancient story from the romantic Bruckner's Symphony. Accompanying the orgies of the Golden Calf worship, selections from Rubinstein's "Demon" opera are adapted." (**).

Ankündigung von vier proletarischen Feierstunden im Schauspielhaus und vier großen Festkonzerten des Bezirksbildungsausschusses in der Berliner Philharmonie für die kommende Saison, darunter am 12.10.1924 ein Beethoven-Bruckner-Programm (mit einer d-Moll-Symphonie:3. Symphonie), im Berliner Volksblatt "Vorwärts" Nr. 392 auf S. 6 (***).
