The Standard Union Nr. 57 (Brooklyn, New York) bringt auf S. 10 einen statistischen Überblick über die Konzerte im New Yorker Lewisohn Stadium und erwähnt dabei auch Bruckners 4. Symphonie [am 20.7.1928]:

"                  Stadium Statistics

     The three remaining concerts to be given this week [...].

     At these special concerts, audiences of twelve, thirteen and even fourteen thousand were noch unusual. In addition, there were fifteen compositions played for the first time at the Stadium, though they were heard elsewhere before. Among them were the already mentioned "Skyscrapers," "Hary Janos," by Kodaly, Bruckner's "Romantic" Symphony, eight Russian songs by Liadow [... 62 Komponisten, 157 Werke, Wagner an der Spitze, danach Beethoven ...]."
