The Victoria Daily Times Nr. 116 (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) informiert auf S. 20 in der Ankündigung einer Radioübertragung über Luigi von Kunits als ehemaligen Bruckner-Schüler:

"TORONTO SYMPHONY

     Dr. Von Kunits studied violin under the two eminent teachers, J. M. Kral and O. Sevcik, composition and musical history under Anton Bruckner and Edward Hanslick, respectively. At an early age his exceptional talent attracted the attention and interest of many musical celebrities in his native city of Vienna, notably Johannes Brahms, Johann Strauss and Carl Goldmark.

     In 1903, Dr. Von Kunits came to America [...]. In 1912 he went to Toronto as head of the violin department of the Canadian Academy of Music, a position he now holds in the Toronto Conservatory of Music." (**).
