Harold A Strickland widmet sich in seinem Artikel "TOSCANINI AND SAINT-SAENS" in The Brooklyn Times (Times Union, Brooklyn) auf S. 53 (= S. 11 des Zeitungsteils) nach kurzer Erwähnung der Bruckner-Symphonie ausschließlich der Orgel-Symphonie (***).
Im Konzertbericht von Bruno David Assher im Los Angeles Evening Express Nr. 298 auf S. 9 wird über ein Werk des amerikanischen Komponisten Heinrich Hammer geschrieben: "[...]. Occasionally Hammer's music suggested comparisons with the mystic swelling of brass used by Franck and Bruckner. In common with the latter's dreaming of high-branched forests, the present Andante proceeds haltingly, [...]." (°).
Radio Graz überträgt ab 19:30 aus dem Stephanien-Saal ein Konzert des Grazer Städtischen Orchesters unter Karl Tutein mit Werken von Weber, Chopin und Bruckner (4. Symphonie) (°°).
