Die Neue Musikalische Presse bringt auf S. 1f einen Feuilleton-Artikel über Ferdinand Löwe, in dem Bruckner als Lehrer Löwes genannt wird und die Aufführung der 5. Symphonie im März 1898 [1.3.1898] erwähnt wird (*).
Bruckner wird als Lehrer Franz Schalks in The Boston Globe Nr. 85 auf S. 32 erwähnt:
