Wiederholung des gestrigen Konzerts mit der 4. Symphonie unter Ferdinand Löwe in Reichenberg (*).

The Buffalo Sunday Morning News Nr. 27 informieren auf S. 8 über das Mai-Festival in Cincinnati mit der 9. Symphonie [am 14.5.1904]:
"Cincinnati May Music Festival.
It is the general feeling that the 16th Biennal Festival to be held in Music Hall, Cincinnati, May 11, 12, 13 and 14, will be perhaps the most successful in this chain of musical events. [... Chorwerke, Chor auf Höchstniveau, 500 Personen ...].
The orchestra will number 100, including the entire Chicago orchestra and some additional players of first character that Mr. Thomas has engaged in New York. The important orchestral novelty will be Bruckner's Ninth Symphony, and one of the great Strauss tone-poems will be played, "Death and Transfiguration;" Symphonies by Beethoven, Mozart and a Bach Suite will also be heard.
[... Gesangssolisten aus England ... Preise und Vorverkauf ...]."
Auf derselben Seite wird Bruckner als Lehrer von Emil Paur genannt:
"     [...] He came to the Vienna Conservatoire of Music when a young man, where he was a pupil of Hellmesberger, Dessoff and Anton Bruckner. After several years [... Wien, Berlin etc. ...]" (**).
