"     The programme for the Worcester music festival which opens Monday, the 25th, and continues till Friday, the 29th, includes Mozart's "Requiem," which has not before been given in Worcester; Cesar Franck's "Beatitudes," a noble work of the modern French school; a "Te Deum" by Bruckner, and Beethoven's choral symphony. The list of singers is god, but there are no "stars"; the tenor, George Hamlin, is perhaps the best known of the soloists."
