The Boston Globe Nr. 119 kündigt auf S. 43 die Aufführung der 9. Symphonie in dieser Woche [= 1./2.11.1907] an:

"                    MUSICAL MATTERS

[...]

     The third Symphony program introduced as soloist Mr Carl Wendling, the new concert master of the orchestra, in Brahms' D-major concerto for violin and orchestra. [... über dieses Konzert ...].

     This week's programm will present Mme Schumann-Heink as soloist. She will sing [... 3 orchestrierte Schubert-Lieder ...]. The other selections will be Bruckner's ninth symphony, which he left unfinished, and Beethoven's "Leonore" overture No. 1." (**).
