The Salt Lake Tribune Nr. 138 bringt auf S. 24 eine Buchbesprechung, in der Bruckner und ein [bisher (2021) wohl noch unbekanntes] Bruckner-Porträt erwähnt werden:
" FOR CONCERT-GOERS.
The Standard Concert Guide: a Handbook of the Standard Symphonies, Oratorios, Cantatas, and Symphonic Poems for the Concert Goer. By George P. Upton. Profusely Illustrated. Published by A. C. McClurg & Co., Chicago.
This is an invaluable work for the concert-goer, as it makes everything plain and illuminates the progress of the music, the song, and the action. There are portraits of the great masters, and of some who are not so great. And there is a presentation of the music from time to time which will be appreciated by the music lover. There is here all of the standard and popular operas and songs of Bach, Beethoven, Benedict, Benuett, Berlioz, Brahms, Bruch, Bruckner, Buck, Corder [... usw. bis Weber ...].
